The Ugly Black Sheep.

Black sheep, black sheep

Have you any wool?

Or have you been left naked

And stranded by the wolves?

Wolves in sheep’s clothing

Disguised as your kin.

Black sheep, black sheep

How could you fit in?

Where is your Sheppard?

Where is your pasture?

Where is your home?

Where is your master?

Black sheep, black sheep

Have you any wool?

Or did you lose it all

When you chose to be a wolf?

Did the pack love you then?

Were you safe in their sheath?

Or were you still, in their eyes

Just an ugly black sheep?

*Make sure to check out the upcoming post on February 8th for a piece about coping with being the black sheep in a family.*
