Discernment and Diplomacy: A Black Woman’s Ballot

I knew that as a black woman in 2018, I had seen enough along my walk to have the discernment required to vote for what was right. The ballot cast today would act as irrefutable evidence of my values, compassion, justice, and my efforts to create a better neighborhood, city, state, and country.
